Rat hat

Well today was the last day of the Year of the Earth Rat in the Chinese Zodiac... and coincidentally I was born myself two years of the rat ago... but today is also the day I adopted a rat from the Animal Shelter I do volunteer work at I fell totally in love with him, when he came in 2 weeks ago... and last week (only working there Sundays) I entertained thoughts of taking him home... Today was finally the day & I built him a cage & all sorts of playthings I hope to give him a happy home... though today he was a bit nervous for his new home & from the trip thereto & just sleepy from exploring all the new environments... also resulting in few pictures I could take of him.
And since today's also the day my dA subscription ran out, I thought I'd share this here, with a picture instead of linking the picture in my journal... so here I present to you my pet: Elvis (I must've hear an Elvis Presley song on the way back the week before and named him so... but any better suggestions would be welcome)
